Anna carries on a tradition that has been around since people have loved music. The figure of the wandering bard has appeared in folktales, the poems of Chauser, and the plays of Shakespeare. The role of the bard is to bring music to wherever there are people to listen and in doing so spread the music and traditions of one culture to another. Anna started busking at the age of nine on the streets of her hometown in Washington State and continued all through college, abroad, to festivals, farmer's markets, and fairs.
